Hope Christian Centre is led by lay Elders and is associated with the Christian Community Churches of Australia (CCCAust). 

CCCAust is a network of independent Churches working together for the benefit of the Australian community.

Leadership
How does a church run without paid staff?

The leadership team at Hope consists of our Elders, Deacons, and a few other teams as well!

The Elders are overseers, pastors, and the spiritual leaders of our Church. 

The Deacons are responsible for the practical tasks of running our organisation and looking after our building etc.

We also have a music team, a teaching team, a care team, and sunday school and youth leaders.

By allowing each member to use their God-given gifts, the church is enriched and many more people can be blessed than would be possible with only a few paid staff.
